SEMINAR:
“Healthy Eating for Expecting and Breast-Feeding Women”
Mommies Projects! can present expecting mothers with a truly informative seminar guided by registered dietitians. The seminar encompasses how eating smart is the foundation for a healthy pregnancy. Expecting mothers gain awareness of not only about caloric needs but also vitamin and mineral needs, and how to incorporate good, sound nutrition during and after pregnancy.
The seminar is 1 hour in length and includes a question and answer session. The mother will also be given resources and information for any follow up questions or concerns.
Pregnancy Tip:
During pregnancy you will need a lot of energy-overall, it can take up to 80,000 calories to a make a baby! Experts recommend the average woman gain 25-35 pounds throughout pregnancy.
